New York Attorney General Letitia James will reportedly consider seizing property owned by former President Donald Trump if he cannot pay the massive $354 million fine issued by Judge Arthur Engoron.
Engoron, a Democrat, imposed the fine on Trump in a civil fraud case in New York after finding that the Republican presidential candidate and his companies had engaged in an attempt to defraud lenders and insurance companies by inflating the value of his assets.
It was a ruling that Shark Tank star Kevin O'Leary described as “un-American” as he called for the ruling to be reviewed, appealed and overturned.
James, who made a victory lap after convincing a Democratic judge in one of the country's most liberal districts of the nature of the fraud, said she would make sure Trump pays.
“If he does not have the funds to pay the judgment, we will seek mechanisms to enforce the judgment in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets,” James told ABC News.
James added that her office is “prepared to make sure New Yorkers pay the judgment, and yes, I watch 40 Wall Street every day.”

Possibility of seizing the Trump building
I see a lot of people criticizing Letitia James for saying the following:

Trump likens judges and prosecutors harassing him over Navalny's death
In an appearance on Fox News hosted by Laura Ingraham, Trump compared ongoing political harassment to the recent death of Russian dissident Alexei Navalny.
“It's terrible, but it happens in our country too,” he said of Navalny's death in a Russian prison.
“I've been indicted four times… all because of the fact that I'm in politics,” Trump said. “They accused me of very ridiculous things.”
“It is a form of Navalny. “It is a form of communism and fascism,” he added.
Ingraham has argued that the fraud ruling and the numerous indictments against Trump are a sign that the attention-seeking Democrats behind them are “tyrants in training.”
“Political dissent is eliminated through censorship of opposing viewpoints, intimidation of free thinkers through harassment, as well as show trials of course, and imprisonment of dissent. “That's all part of it,” Ingraham says. “And then there are always the threats to family members.” And financial ruin.”
“Well, Donald Trump is facing all that,” she adds.

Letitia ignores James and reveals a “revenge” plan
Trump, during the town hall, largely dismissed ongoing legal cases, including James's in which she threatened to seize his assets.
“If I was losing in the polls, they wouldn't even talk about me,” Trump asserted. “Although I think they hate me so much that if I got out, they'd be like, 'Let's go after this guy.'
The presumptive GOP nominee Judge Engoron rightly called him a “psycho” and called James “horrible.”
He continued: “They are trying to harm me so that they can win another election.”
An audience member asked Trump about the possibility of “settling old scores” if he wins the White House.
“I don't care about the revenge thing. My revenge will be successful,” he said.

Trump posted a video of his “retaliatory” comment on the Truth Social website.
What better revenge than the success of America First in 2024 when Democrats want to prevent the American people from prospering at all costs?
Trump indicated that he would appeal the ruling and the excessive fine.
