It seems like just yesterday we were mocking House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-Ohio) for suggesting that giving Ukraine just $110 billion versus $170 billion would mean “abandoning” them. Enter MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, who decided those comments weren't ridiculous enough.
Scarborough claims that anyone who opposes allocating billions more in taxpayer money to fund the war effort against Russia – without any procedure or means to review the flow of funds – has “surrendered to the communists.”
The gist of his argument is that Chinese President Xi Jinping views the very few GOP lawmakers willing to secure our borders first and stop the endless flow of money to Ukraine as a sign of weakness.
“The message Xi is now getting from little Mike Johnson and Donald Trump is devastating,” he said with false courage.
“The message is that Republicans, who for the past 50 years have been the main force in aggressively challenging communism, have surrendered to the communists,” Scarborough insisted. “They have given up.”

Scarborough – Send $60 billion to Ukraine or you'll become a communist
There's clearly an audience for this kind of inane commentary, albeit a small one. Imagine that, having already sent over $110 billion to a foreign country and being its largest single donor, you don't want to send more Equivalent to “surrender to the communists.”
“Mike Johnson surrendered to communists, to former communists, and to willing communists. “Mike Johnson gave up,” the MSNBC host continued. “Donald Trump has long since surrendered to Vladimir Putin. He gave up on something a long time ago. He has nothing but praise for Xi, Kim Jong Un, these communist leaders, and Mika. This is the message that Xi is receiving loud and clear.
“It's not just Donald Trump now. “It's the Republican Party,” Scarborough added. “The bulwark against communist aggression is Ronald Reagan’s old party, which has now collapsed.”
Social media users responded very kindly to Scarborough's comments.
“Joe Scarborough is so stupid,” wrote right-wing political commentator Paul Cipolla.
This is what we in the business world call “simplification.”
Another wrote: “It is inconceivable that the way to imagine not sending unlimited money to another war forever for the taxpayers of America is to surrender to communism.” “It's so over the top, it's just ridiculous.”
Not only is this ridiculous on its face, it's hard not to say that behind the scenes the Biden administration is being run by other people. actual Communists.

Throw money away
The Russian invasion of Ukraine occurred almost two years ago. Since then, the United States has “surrendered to the communists” by sending more than $110 billion in aid and munitions to defend against Putin’s attack.
For most of these two years, the American media insisted that Ukraine was on the verge of a great victory. Reality says otherwise.
Journalist Glenn Greenwald claims that sending another $60 billion to Ukraine won't help much.
“There is no way Ukraine can win this war, no matter how much the United States spends fueling the war,” he said. “It is impossible, and it is increasingly clear and visible, that Russia has been able to produce far more military equipment and artillery shells than all NATO countries combined, leaving Ukraine at a significant disadvantage.”
A reminder that this whole war was and always will be hopeless for the Ukrainians.
No amount of aid – or the continued sacrifice of Ukrainian men – will change that. https://t.co/sOHekc5AMX pic.twitter.com/HKJdfodJif

“Even if we spend the $60 billion,” Greenwald continued. “What is $60 billion really worth when everyone admits the odds of the Ukrainians kicking Russia out of all of Ukraine's fully excavated eastern provinces… not to mention Crimea… are basically zero. Where does this money go? What is it for? Real?”
No one knows, and that's a big part of the problem. While the White House has hired tens of thousands of IRS agents to track what You are on Handling your hard earned money, no one cares about a review Ukraine It does with your hard earned money.
As The Policy Insider reported in January, corrupt officials in Ukraine were caught participating in the theft of a staggering $40 million earmarked for the war effort against Russia.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), often a lone voice fighting for the American people in Congress, wanted accountability for taxpayer money sent to Ukraine. To do this, he was described as a defender of the Kremlin.
Now, your unwillingness to send an additional $60 billion to a country that has seen corrupt officials steal what was intended for the war effort means you have capitulated to Russia.
Scarborough and the rest of his fellow media simply hate it when America is put first. They are the ones who actually surrender to the communists.
