UN doctors were allowed access to the Nasser Medical Complex on Sunday, two days after Israeli forces raided the facility after receiving intelligence that hostages were being held there.
A video filmed inside shows medical workers evacuating patients using torches and describing damage to the facilities. A UN doctor describes the scene as a “death zone.”
The Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza said on Monday that 14 patients had been transferred to other hospitals.
The Israeli military says no one has died as a result of its actions, and that its forces have been told to continue operating the hospital.
