It will be another mild and dry day, with mostly sunny skies and a warmer afternoon Tuesday afternoon. We will see temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s across the Northeast Plains, with highs near 70 degrees across the Southeast Plains.
There will be scattered light snow in the country's highlands and highs in the 30s for skiing and snowboarding.
A weak Pacific storm system will move through the state on Wednesday and early Thursday with some cold weather and a few inches of snow in the mountains. Denver and the eastern Plains will see some rain Wednesday afternoon and evening and light snow early Thursday.
Temperatures will drop into the 50s on Wednesday and upper 40s on Thursday.
The skies will clear by the end of the week and we will return to the 60s on Saturday and Sunday.
