Former “The Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider, long known as one of the only conservative stars in Hollywood, is speaking out against “left-wing” musicians after liberal singer Beyoncé released two new country songs.
Schneider rips Beyonce
While conducting an interview with the conservative outlet One American News, Schneider, 63, was asked about “left-wing” musicians in the wake of Beyoncé, 42, foraying into the country music genre for the first time.
“Leftists in the entertainment industry aren't going to leave any area alone, are they?” the host asked, according to the Daily Mail. “They just have to control every aspect, right?”
“They have to make their mark, just like a dog at a dog walking park. You know, every dog has to make a mark on every tree, right? That's what's going on here,” Schneider replied, appearing to compare Beyoncé to a dog peeing.
Schneider went on to say that it's usually the other way around, citing country music artists like Shania Twain who are trying to break into mainstream music genres.
“I know a little bit about country music,” said Schneider, who released his own country music songs in the 1980s.

Beyoncé fans responded
Beyoncé's fans have since responded to Schneider by accusing him of racism, the New York Post reported.
“Beyoncé can do whatever she wants to do, she doesn't need your permission John Schneider,” one social media user commented, while another added: “Can we all agree that John Schneider is a hateful ignorant ass.”
“John Schneider just went after Beyoncé for 'peeing on his tree.'” “I'm here for the education he's about to get,” a third user commented. “John Schneider was born in New York and moved to Atlanta at the age of 14,” a fourth person declared. Just because he pretended to be a southerner 4 years later in Dukes of Hazzard doesn't make him an expert on what country is and isn't. He's a racist ass, that's what he is.
Beyoncé released her new music singles “Texas Hold 'Em” and “16 Carriages” after the Super Bowl last week.
The Secret Service is investigating Schneider
Schneider is no stranger to controversy and backlash. Last December, the Secret Service launched an investigation into him after he apparently called for President Joe Biden to be “publicly hanged” for “treason.”
“Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly executed. Your son too. Your response is..? Sincerely, John Schneider,” he wrote in a social media post that has since been deleted, according to People Magazine.

But Schneider has since denied calling for Biden to be killed.
“This is my final comment on this. I neither said nor insinuated anything like that,” Schneider told Deadline. “Despite headlines claiming otherwise, in my post, I never called for violence or threatened American President as many other celebrities have done in the past. I suggest you re-read my actual post and pay attention to the words before believing this nonsense.
“It is my position, which I am entitled to take, that some of our countries [sic.] He added: “The leaders in Washington have lost their way, and corruption is rampant, both on our country's borders and abroad.” “Transparency and accountability must be achieved if our constitutional republic is to survive. There is no threat implied or otherwise in this statement.
Whether you agree with Schneider's assessment of Beyoncé or not, he's clearly one of the only celebrities who isn't afraid to think for themselves these days. What do you think of his latest statements? Let us know in the comments section.
