    The Prince of Wales is so horrified by the human suffering unfolding in the Middle East that he is ready to carry out a series of engagements to highlight the plight of all those affected by the ongoing conflict.

    In a separate statement, the king's spokesman said he was “appalled” by the “brutal terrorist acts” in Israel, adding that the king was “deeply concerned” and that his “thoughts and prayers are with all those suffering.”
