After sharing some demos, Lightning Bug has officially announced their upcoming album, No paradise. Follow up until 2021 The color of the sky Landing on May 2. The new single “December Song” comes with a video written, directed and filmed by leading actress Audrey Kang on the Greek island of Andros. Kang started writing No paradise After completing a 4,000-mile motorcycle trip from Mexico to New York. Speaking about “December Song,” she said, “I had just returned to New York City after spending every drop of my energy riding a motorcycle from Nayarit to New York City. When the trip was over, I fell to the lowest point I had ever known. “December Song” was my way of adding some Meaning to my life again, by thinking of my grief as part of a story, or a season.In the song, the myth of Persephone is retold from the perspective of Demeter as she waits for her daughter to return to a wasteland of grief.
