Radical liberal Hollywood star Rob Reiner launched a truly vile attack on Donald Trump and conservative Christians yesterday, accusing the former president of being a “mouthpiece” for the Christian nationalist movement.
Rainer rants against conservative Christians
Reiner, 76, took to MSNBC on Monday to promote his new documentary God and countrywhich “examines the implications of Christian nationalism and how it distorts not only the constitutional republic but Christianity itself,” according to IMDB.
It didn't take long for this appearance to turn into Reiner ranting against Trump and conservative Christians like the obnoxious leftist that he is.
“They're not right-wing, they're not left-wing, they're just Donald Trump,” Reiner told host Ari Melber. “There are very conservative Christian evangelicals, pastors, very respected people in the Christian community, who are afraid of this Christian nationalist movement.”
He continued: “They are not only afraid of harming democracy, but also of Christianity itself.” “We show in the film that this movement was the basis for January 6. It was the moving elements that made January 6 and the uprising happen. Now, we have a Speaker of the House of Representatives who is an avowed Christian nationalist.”

Reiner attacks Trump
That's when Reiner focused on attacking Trump, one of his favorite times.
“Donald Trump is very happy to have his spokesman there. “We see that connection.” “We can slide into autocracy very easily. You hear this all the time on your show and many other shows, but the struggle now is between whether or not we maintain our democracy or slide into theocratic autocracy.
“This is what this movement wants. They believe this is a white Christian nation. This is how it should be. This is what we highlight in the film. They are not only poisoning democracy, they are poisoning Christianity,” Reiner concluded. “This is not a religious movement.” . This is a political movement that seeks absolute power. This is the fear that they have this spokesman, and he will ride this or will try to ride this all the way to the White House.

While promoting his new documentary, Reiner has been shamelessly attacking conservative Christians as if that's his job, without a hit below the belt. .
“This movement they're making here seems completely contradictory to the teachings of Jesus,” Reiner told Newsweek last week.
“Jesus was about peace, love, helping your neighbor and those less fortunate than us,” he continued. “And I thought this was something we should all aspire to. So to me this movement is completely against the teachings of Jesus.”
Reiner went on to blame “Christian nationalism” for the January 6 Capitol riot. .
“The Christian Nationalist Movement… says this is my way or the highway and will resort to violence if we don’t get what we want, which is what we saw happen on January 6,” he said.
It is also unsurprising that Reiner used this interview to attack former President Donald Trump.
“I can criticize [Donald] Trump said because he is the one who restricts these people in this thinking. “Trump is a cult, and people who follow this cult are at risk. They're looking for meaning, they're looking for direction, and you can get carried away with something [like that]”.
Reiner has long been one of the most ignorant and shameless liberals in Hollywood, and he's only gotten worse with age. His attacks on Christians are nothing short of bigoted, and it is shameful that Hollywood continues to give him a platform to launch them.
