The above average temperatures we have seen will continue to be present in this forecast. Warm air is already trying to push into the Ozarks this afternoon. Some rain or sprinkles are possible this evening, although coverage and amounts will be very light. Low temperatures will drop to near freezing by Tuesday morning.
Tuesday looks like a very beautiful day. Warm, sunny conditions are expected. High temperatures will push into the mid 60s with a light southerly breeze.
Wednesday looks warmer. High temperatures can reach 70 degrees. A cloud cover is likely to appear in the afternoon as the winds intensify. If cloud cover is thinner, afternoon temperatures may be warmer.
Then a cold front pushes through the Ozarks early Thursday morning. A few showers and some thunderstorms possible. If thunderstorms develop, moderate hail may be observed with the strongest storms. Thursday morning will be incredibly warm with lows in the upper 40s. High temperatures should handle temperatures in the low 60s. Despite the northwesterly wind.
Friday looks cooler but will still be well above average. High temperatures may stay around 60. We may finally have a nice weekend. A ridge is rebuilding above the plains bringing warm, sunny weather back to the area. The sun is expected to rise on both days. The high temperature on Saturday should be in the low 60s with 70 degrees possible on Sunday.
The next chance for rain is next Monday with temperatures remaining around 70. Rainfall amounts this week look bleak at less than a quarter inch. The exception is counties in the extreme southeast where some thunderstorms are likely Thursday.
