It's expected to be sunny to partly cloudy and warmer weather is expected Tuesday across the Southern Plains and Rolling Plains. High temperatures will range from the mid 70s to lower 80s. It will be windy at times with west winds 10 to 20 mph.

There are still no notable changes in drought conditions across the Southern Plains and Rolling Plains, according to the latest U.S. Drought Monitor (USDM) update released Thursday, February 15. Most of the undulating plains and a good portion of the southern plains remain classified as drought-free. Moderate drought (D1) conditions continue to be reported across parts of the south-northwest Plains. Meanwhile, abnormal drought (D0) continues to be reported across the northwest Southern Plains, far western Southern Plains, parts of the southern Southern Plains and parts of the Southern Rolling Plains.
