    The rain comes out, and the sunshine returns

    Rain coverage expected early Monday morning (WGXT4 TV)

    Rain will continue Sunday evening as temperatures drop to the mid-40s, with winds gusting between 15 and 25 miles per hour from the north.

    Monday morning begins with decreasing precipitation before sunshine returns by early afternoon with temperatures in the 40s and partly cloudy skies. The incoming northerly winds will continue at 7 to 10 miles per hour. Monday afternoon the rain will move offshore. Temperatures will peak in the low 60s with partly cloudy skies.

    Boaters are warning of dangerous ocean conditions Sunday night.
