As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Angela Chao, Senator Mitch McConnell's sister-in-law, died last week in a tragic “accident.”
Angela Chao, the sister of former US Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, served as CEO of dry bulk company The Foremost Group, a company with deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
In an initial statement, Formost Group said Angela Chow died in a “tragic car accident” but did not provide further details about how the accident occurred.
Now, a week later, the Blanco County Sheriff's Office has revealed that Chow died after her car fell into a pond located on a private ranch located 40 miles outside of Austin, Texas.
In a statement, the Blanco County Sheriff's Office revealed that EMS crews “responded to a potential water rescue at a private ranch located in Blanco County, Texas.”
The statement continued: “Upon their arrival, Blanco County deputies along with Blanco County Fire and Emergency Services recovered the body of Angela Chow from a pond on the farm… Emergency services attempted to take emergency action on Ms. Chow, but she succumbed to being underwater.”

Per CNBC:
Angela Chao, CEO of Foremost Group and sister-in-law of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, died after her car entered a pond on a private ranch about 40 miles west of Austin, Texas, authorities said Friday.
Zhao's family announced on Wednesday that she died in a car accident on Sunday, but did not reveal details of the accident at the time.
The Blanco County Sheriff's Office said in a statement on Friday that it “responded on Saturday to a potential water rescue at a private ranch located in Blanco County, Texas.”
“Upon their arrival, Blanco County deputies, along with Blanco County Fire and Emergency Services, recovered the body of Angela Chow from a pond on the farm,” the statement said.
“EMS attempted to take emergency action on Ms. Zhao but she succumbed to being underwater,” the statement said. “Our preliminary investigation has determined that this is an unfortunate incident. The investigation is ongoing at this time,” the statement also said.
Before the Blanco County Sheriff's Office made its announcement, Kyle Bass, director of IT at Hayman Capital Management, reported last week that “Chao got into her Tesla and backed into a pond on the farm and died.”
Next, Brian Costello shared Bass' report on Steve Bannon's war room.
