SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Heavy rain and snow with gusty winds are expected throughout the weekend and into next week as two storms move into Northern California starting Saturday.
A winter storm, wind and flood warning went into effect for parts of the Sacramento area on Sunday and will continue through Wednesday morning.
The California Office of Emergency Services has placed emergency officials in several Northern California counties including Colusa and Calaveras counties.
