If you really love reading and writing, this will be bad news. This appears to be white supremacy.
As reported by Gateway Pundit,
A parent shared a hand-out worksheet given to students in a Seattle Public School high school English class as part of Black Lives Matter in School Week with KTTH Radio host Jason Rantz.
Rantz reported that students in a world literature and composition class at Lincoln High School were given a handout containing definitions of “9 Characteristics of White Supremacy.”
An example of this is the “cult of the written word” because it is “the erasure of the wide range of ways in which we communicate with each other.”
Furthermore, he points out that it is wrong to evaluate written communication because it is a form of “honoring only what is written, and even then only what is written according to narrow standards, full of misinformation and lies.”
The worksheet categorizes “objectivism,” “individualism,” and “perfectionism” as white supremacy. If students deny their racism — or that any of the nine characteristics are legitimately racist — that is also white supremacy. Denial or excessive self-defense is a racist example of the “right to name what one is.” [sic] It is not racism and that those in power have the right to be protected from pressure for anti-racist work.
Nothing helps boost test scores quite like telling students that a love of reading and writing makes white people superior. These young people are subjected to an unconscionable amount of racial oppression and it is paid for with tax dollars. No wonder test scores are so bad.
