Could some parts of the Assassin's Creed games be heading into the future? It's certainly a possibility considering some of the new material that came out at launch Assassin's Creed Miragethe latest in the franchise.
The series has always featured some sort of modern story that deals with the lineage of the assassins we play as in the historical majority of the games. with Miragesome dataminers have found an audio clip that could indicate a shift into the future for modern-day heroes.
Codename Red will finally take us to Japan for samurai and ninjas
What appears in this audio is two Animus operators discussing the 21st century as “ancient history”. There's also the so-called “big shift” mentioned, which may indicate something is happening in the 21st century. Given that it's in the past tense, could the operators be from the 22nd century? Or beyond that?
This audio appeared under the title “Neo”, which is the code name for Ubisoft Assassin's Creed HicksAll of this indicates that it will happen in the next match. But does this mean that the entire game will be set in the future, perhaps as a culmination of all our years of training? Or maybe we'll see dueling stories taking place across two timelines?
Many fans would be happy to see a game set in the future, and this includes Reddit members discussing this theory. “Dystopian cyberpunk style Assassins Creed It will be very cool. Something like Blade Runner meets parkour. Although many are mourning the loss of Desmond's story, a character we used to follow back in the day, says one Redditor. One fan opines, “It looks like Infinity won't just be a launch pad, but 'infinity' is the new modern-day environment where everything new is done.” Assassins Creed Matches are taking place.” referring to the franchise's upcoming launch hub. We'll have to wait and see what happens after the next game codenamed Red takes us to Japan.
