    Rainy weather postpones the NASCAR Xfinity Series race

    Daytona Beach. Florida. – Officials announced they have postponed the NASCAR Xfinity Series race that was scheduled for Saturday afternoon.

    The race was scheduled to start at 5 p.m., but officials said “due to inclement weather” the race will now take place at 11 a.m. on Monday.

    “All United Rentals 300 tickets, hospitality passes and parking passes will be honored on Monday,” A.J Post on social media Partially stated.

    A busy race week in Daytona Beach that concludes with the Daytona 500 faces a weekend of unstable weather across Central Florida. This race is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m

    The cold front that moved in on Saturday increases the chances of rain. Light rain is expected to begin Saturday morning and continue until late Sunday evening.

    1 pm on Sunday

    According to a News 6 meteorologist, intermittent rain is expected to continue through the night, with the possibility of heavier rain expected to increase as we approach Sunday. Expect unsettled conditions to continue into Sunday afternoon and evening, with heavy rain continuing into late Sunday, especially along the coast.

    The United Rentals 300 will be broadcast on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
