    Johannes Faber (born November 7, 1952 in Munich) is a German trumpeter and composer.

    He studied trumpet in Munich, Graz, and at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

    He was a professor at the Hamburg University of Music and Drama between 1990 and 1998. In 2012, he became a professor at the Istituto Niccolò Paganini in Genoa.

    He played among others with Billy Cobham, George Adams, Anthony Jackson, Chaka Khan, Mal Waldron and Dave King.
