Updated: 4:26 AM EST on February 16, 2024

Cloudy skies today. We got some scattered showers around midnight and shortly after that most of us in the Upstate stayed dry. There will be some scattered showers across the mountains, but it will all calm down before this weekend. Let's take a look at these winds. It was a bit quiet yesterday. It's going to be a little breezy again this evening, but you can see some of those wind gusts. Here tomorrow morning, 30, 35, 37 mph for a few of us. That's tomorrow morning as we move into the afternoon, and it will still be very breezy, even windy at times. So, just a heads up if you want to go out tomorrow. Let's go back to today. Here and now. We have partly cloudy skies this early morning. However, here comes a lot of clouds throughout the day. So, today will be much less bright than we saw yesterday. It's still on the moderate side, and highs will be in the low 60s as we go into tonight. here we are. TEN 1030 11:00 tonight. We'll start to see some of those precipitation moves. This is the year 1230. So you'll still see some of that rain overnight across the mountains. Shortly after that, we will see a few isolated showers begin to move toward the state. 1:32 a.m., 3 a.m., and that's it. As you can see, a lot of it, only most of us will stay dry. There won't be much rain for most of us out there. Here, as we head into tomorrow morning, by the time the sun comes up, it will all be over. 230 in the afternoon. Now note that some of us will still be dealing with some clouds tomorrow. Some will have holes for intake, or at least partial clearance. So, tomorrow will be a mix of sun and clouds. But by Sunday, look at mid-morning and afternoon. Here comes a lot of sunshine. But again, it will be colder on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Presidents' Day. Beautiful skies, lots and lots of sunshine. We'll see a little cloud coverage return on Tuesday and Wednesday. It looks mostly sunny. Then by Thursday night into Friday, we may see more rain next weekend, but not before we warm things up again. Let's take a look at the talk about today's low temperatures reaching 60 degrees. Despite those overcast skies, high winds and 55 degrees tomorrow, Sunday and Monday mornings, we will be freezing. So, you should know that those days will be very cold. But look for our daytime highs in the mid to upper 60s again by the middle of next week and the latter part of the UPSTATE term. Very close to that in the A mountains
