Friday (February 16)
- Scattered rain/snow is possible over Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh.
- Dense fog is likely to occur in isolated pockets in northern, central and eastern India in the morning hours.
Saturday (February 17)
- Scattered rain/snow with thunderstorms likely over Ladakh.
- Scattered rain/snow may occur over Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh.
- Scattered rain is possible over Sikkim, western sub-Himalayas, Bengal and Assam.
- Dense fog may cover isolated places in northern, central and eastern India in the morning hours.
National 5-day forecast:
A new Western Disturbance is expected to impact the Western Himalayan region from the end of next week to early next week, bringing hailstorm and widespread light to moderate rain or snowfall with heavy rain or snowfall over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffar. Abad. Himachal Pradesh on February 18-20, and in Uttarakhand on February 19.

Minimum temperatures are expected to be higher than normal in India during this period.
