If Donald Trump becomes president again, don't expect to see his son-in-law Jared Kushner return to the White House.
Kushner wishes his father-in-law the best, but he does not want to participate in Trump's second term.

Kushner wants to focus on his family and stay out of the limelight
Kushner, who is considered persona non grata to MAGA believers, instead wants to remain involved in his investment firm Affinity Partners.
“I was very fortunate to play a role in the campaign and then to join him in the administration,” Kushner told Axios business editor Dan Primack. “There were some amazing things we were able to do together. Very proud of them.”
“But this time, I think he will be able to build a really great team based on the people available,” Kushner said.
Kushner said he enjoyed his role in Trump's first term and believes the former president in his 2024 presidential bid “I think the team around him is probably his best.”
“They are doing a great job,” Kushner explained. “I believe that if he takes office again, he will have a level of competence and professionalism, even more than he did in the previous administration.”
Kushner also said he enjoys staying out of the spotlight and spending time with his family, which is completely understandable given the scrutiny Trump tends to inadvertently bring to bear on those around him.

Neither does Ivanka
Kushner's wife and Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, also said she wants to focus on her family and does not intend to participate in a potential second Trump administration.
“I love my father very much,” Ivanka Trump said last year. This time, I choose to prioritize my young children and the special life we create as a family. “I don't plan to get involved in politics.”
She added: “While I will always love and support my father, I will do so outside of the political arena moving forward. “I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people, and I will always be proud of the many accomplishments of our administration.”
