Radical liberal Hollywood star Jane Fonda has spoken out against fellow actress Jennifer Lopez, saying she feels “concerned” about her public displays of affection (PDA) with husband Ben Affleck.
Fonda worries about Lopez and Affleck
Fonda (86 years old) expressed her concern during her appearance in Lopez's new film on Amazon Prime, 54 years old. This is me… now: a love storyWhich accompanies Lopez's ninth studio album, “This Is Me… Now.”
“I want you to know that I don't quite know why, but I feel invested in you and Ben, and I really want this to work,” Fonda said, according to Variety.
“However, this is what worries me,” she added. “It's like you're trying to prove something instead of just living it. You know, every other photo is the two of you kissing and hugging.
But Lopez didn't let that bother her.
“We're just living our lives,” she said in response.
Fonda did not stop there, but proceeded to say that she was concerned about how sad Affleck looked in photographers' photos while attending the 2023 Grammy Awards with Lopez.
“He looks so unhappy, and I'm like, 'Oh my God, what's going on?'” Fonda lamented.
“Nothing,” Lopez replied. “I have become a symbol of the beleaguered man,” he would say.
Fonda explained to Lopez's manager, Benny Medina, that she was strangely invested in the singer's marriage to Affleck.
“I think everyone in the whole world is drawn to this relationship and this love,” Fonda told Medina. “And the idea of how to present that is a very sacred and important idea. It should be approached in a way that is not overly ostentatious, to the point of creating any form of criticism or resentment.”

History of Fonda and Lopez
Fonda and Lopez met in 2005 when they starred together in a romantic comedy Monster in law, which included an iconic scene that saw them slapping each other. But when Fonda was asked about that scene in an interview last week, she explained that she still holds a grudge against Lopez for what she claims happened during filming.
“The thing that immediately comes to mind is we have this slapping scene. I slap her, she slaps me. Well Jennifer — as Jennifer said — had this huge diamond ring,” Fonda said. “And so, when she slapped me one time, she cut my eyes and my eyebrows.” “.
“She never apologized,” added the woman, who was nicknamed Hanoi Jane during the Vietnam War.

Lopez's votes are down
Lopez, 53, remembered the scene differently when she reacted to it in a video she posted to her YouTube channel in 2019. In that video, Lopez called the scene “one of the most fun scenes I've ever done.”
“She really did, and so did I, and then I accidentally punched her in the eye — right there — oh,” Lopez said. “We talked about how we would do it over and over again. I was so afraid I would hit Jane Fonda in the face or hurt her in any way. She was so rude and [said] Like, “Just hit me, don't worry about it.”
“I don’t want to hurt you,” Lopez recalled saying, “Next thing you know [Fonda] I really did in one of those slaps.
“The scene has taken on a life of its own,” she added. 'I remember then Jane had a bloody blister above her eye. My nail like went into her eye. . . . I said, 'Oh my God! I'm so sorry!' She would say: “It's okay, it's okay.”
Lopez went on to claim that Fonda “didn't care” about the blood blisters because she's a “gangster b—up.”

Fonda's obsession with Lopez's marriage to Affleck is both bizarre and disturbing. While Lopez seems to be taking it seriously, we can't help but think Hanoi Jane needs to get a life.
