Los Angeles-based musician Dent May has announced his new album, What's for breakfast?, is scheduled for release on March 29 via Carpark Records. This announcement is accompanied by the new single “Coasting on Fumes”, a collaboration with Jordana. Check out the video below.
“‘Coasting on Fumes’ is the title of a song that came to mind while driving around Los Angeles on an empty gas tank,” Dent May said in a statement. “Jordana and I had been dating online for a while, and when she came to town from New York, we made some time to write. The title of the song came up, and I think it struck a chord as we were both feeling a little overwhelmed by the day-to-day work. We wrote the song in one day. The original version was It only has Jordana's vocals, but I loved it so much that I had to turn it into a duet and steal it for my album.
What's for breakfast? is Dent May's sixth LP, following 2020's EP Late check.
