(Wilmington, Ohio) – Snow is expected to move into the tri-state area this afternoon.
The National Meteorology Directorate issued a winter weather alert from noon today until 1 a.m. until Saturday.
Counties subject to the advisory include Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Carroll, Gallatin, Boone, Kenton and Hamilton counties.
Meteorologists expect snowfall to begin mainly after 3:00 and continue until 10:00. Total snow accumulation is likely to reach 2 inches.
Motorists should plan for slippery road conditions during the evening commute.
