New Argentine President Javier Miley upset his country's political establishment with his landslide victory in November's presidential elections.

His victory made him the world's first liberal president, and he still seeks to live the populist life he promotes in his country.

    Liberal presidents fly commercial

He is truly a man of the people.

On his latest trip to Rome, Miley flew by bus — and socialized on a plane full of very excited fans. He watches:

The President of Argentina does not travel by private plane, the leader is not isolated from his people.

He flies commercially with the citizens he represents.

And they love him for it.

Javier Miley is the embodiment of true populism.

    Man of the people

“Argentine President Javier Miley ended his international tour by boarding a commercial flight home from Rome and greeting every passenger on the flight,” Sky News Australia reported.

Accompanied by his entourage, President Maili boarded ITA flight AZ680 at around 22:00 in Rome, and was greeted by passengers with applause and photo requests, Argentine media outlet Ampeto Financiero reported.

    The story continued:

On board the plane, passengers greeted him with applause, handshakes, hugs, and requests to take pictures.

The Argentine president was returning from Rome to Buenos Aires after concluding his tour in Israel and Italy.

On Monday, Miley held meetings with Pope Francis at the Vatican and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at Chigi Palace.

    Miley doesn't play

Since her election, Miley has been busy cutting federal budgets and workers, both left and right.

In December – just a month after his inauguration – the Associated Press reported that the administration of new Argentine President Javier Miley said on Tuesday that his government would not renew the contracts of more than 5,000 employees hired this year before he took office.

The move was part of a sweeping plan of cuts and currency devaluations announced by the right-wing liberal since taking office on December 10 to turn around Argentina's faltering economy.

The contracts of other government employees, who were appointed before 2023, will be reviewed, authorities said. The 2023 deadline appears intended to target outgoing presidents' practice of increasing payroll in their final year.

What kind of libertarian president would Miley be if he didn't take an ax to the government?

Hopefully we get more of this.

We also hope that the people of Argentina will love it.

New Argentine President Javier Miley warns America:

Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.
