Extremist liberal Hollywood star Rob Reiner has launched a vile attack on conservative Christians, saying they are “contradictory to the teachings of Jesus.”
Reiner attacks Christians
Reiner is currently promoting his new documentary God and countrywhich “examines the implications of Christian nationalism and how it distorts not only the constitutional republic but Christianity itself,” according to IMDB.
“This movement they're making here seems completely contradictory to the teachings of Jesus,” Reiner, 76, told Newsweek.
“Jesus was about peace, love, helping your neighbor and those less fortunate than us,” he continued. “And I thought this was something we should all aspire to. So to me, this movement is completely against the teachings of Jesus.”
Reiner went on to blame “Christian nationalism” for the January 6 Capitol riot. .
“The Christian Nationalist Movement… says this is my way or the highway and will resort to violence if we don’t get what we want, which is what we saw happen on January 6,” he said.
It is also unsurprising that Reiner used this interview to attack former President Donald Trump.
“I can criticize [Donald] Trump said because he is the one who restricts these people in this thinking. “Trump is a cult, and people who follow this cult are at risk. They're looking for meaning, they're looking for direction, and you can get carried away with something [like that]”.

Reiner's previous attack on Christians
Reiner launched a similar attack on Christians last month.
“Jesus told us to do to others what you want them to do to you,” Reiner wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “How can anyone who believes in the teachings of Jesus in God’s name support Donald Trump?”
But unfortunately for Reiner, it backfired on him immediately when Christians responded.
“If you believed in Jesus you would know,” said Oscar-nominated Hollywood star Randy Quaid books As a response.
“You support Joe Biden, you have no right to talk about Jesus or the Bible,” another X user Commentwith a third writing“President Trump has brought prosperity to the United States. He has also brought peace. Biden has brought war, a collapsed economy, and invaded borders. It is clear to any honest person that Trump is better for our country than Biden. That is why Biden's popularity is so low. We need Trump now!”

Reiner comments on Biden and Trump
This comes one day after Reiner, a staunch loyalist of Joe Biden, commented on the presidential election.
“Biden is old. But he is a decent, moral person and incredibly effective at governing. Trump is old. But he is a pathologically lying criminal who is unable to govern and will destroy American democracy,” he wrote on X.
Reiner frequently uses his X profile to speak out against Trump, who lives rent-free in his head.
“Not only does Trump want to destroy American democracy, but his alliance with Vladimir Putin will destroy democracy around the world,” he wrote earlier this week.
Long one of the most brazen liberals in Hollywood, Reiner has become more intolerant as he has gotten older. It is disturbing and despicable that Hollywood would give him a platform to launch such vile attacks on conservative Christians.
