“Officially the biggest spike in Hallow history,” Jones wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “More downloads in one minute than ever before.”
“We are already ranked ahead of Netflix,” he added. “And Lent has not begun yet. Glory be to God. I can’t wait to pray together!”
Holy declaration
Wahlberg appeared in the ad, which Fox News aired in fifteen markets during the Super Bowl, alongside actor Jonathan Rummy, best known for his portrayal of Jesus Christ on the TBN series The Chosen. series.
Wahlberg, 52, began the announcement in church, blessing himself before beginning the prayer while sitting in a pew, according to the Daily Mail.
“Oh my God, we just take this moment to thank you. We thank you for this time to come together as a family, as friends, and as a country.”
“Lord, help us, especially in this Lent, to draw closer to You. Amen,” he continues. “Join us in prayer this Holy Lent. Keep praying.”
As Wahlberg speaks, the ad shows a family praying around a table, a crowd of people cheering at a sporting event, and soldiers and women kneeling in prayer. A priest can then be seen placing ashes on the head of Rumi, who closes his eyes and appears calm.

Christian Faith Wallberg
Wahlberg has long been open about his strong Christian faith.
“It's a balance. I don't want to shove it down anyone's throat, but I'm not denying my faith. It's a greater sin,” Wahlberg said last year.
“You know, it's not common in my field, but I can't deny my faith. It's important for me to share that with people,” he continued. “But I have friends from all walks of life and from all kinds of different beliefs and religions, so it's important to respect them.” And honor them as well.”
