What technology will be needed in the future?

In the modern era, technology develops with time and makes the world a global village. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic in the 21st century, people have realized that the role of IT professionals in modern technology is constantly diminishing.

Even before COVID-19, modern technology was growing rapidly. But after this pandemic, we have witnessed rapid development in modern technology which makes it necessary to gain awareness about the technology that will be in demand in the future.

As we know, technology is constantly evolving, and the question that arises is how a person can use the latest technology and what skills are required. The answer is to get awareness about the latest technologies and stay in touch with upcoming technologies.

Although machines and the latest technologies take priority over human labor, it is estimated that about 85 million jobs will be replaced by emerging technology by 2025, and about 100 million new jobs may emerge. As new jobs emerge, to benefit from these jobs, humans must develop their skills in the latest technologies. In this blog, I have compiled some of the latest technologies that will be in demand in the future. here they are.

    1. Artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence is the ability of computer systems to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence. It is the intelligence of machines. Artificial intelligence experts use this strategy to build machines that work like humans. It was first discovered in the 1950s and until now a lot of work has been done on it making it the most sought-after technology in the future.

Artificial Intelligence helps humans in decision making and problem solving and also benefits in many other areas like recognizing demand for service etc. Now, artificial intelligence has developed proficiency in speech and image recognition like Siri that helps humans quickly get solutions to their problems.

Studies have shown that artificial intelligence has become a human need. Global GDP will increase by $15.7 trillion by 2030. Therefore, by 2030, there will be more AI assistants than humans in the world. This makes AI the cutting edge technology now and in the future.

    2. Cloud computing and cloud engineering

Cloud computing is the delivery of IT resources over the Internet from a cloud service provider. It gives users access to IT resources at their request without purchasing these technologies. The user must pay a monthly bill or subscription to use these technologies. The person who plans and manages an organization's cloud technology is called a cloud architect.

The cloud provides access to store more data compared to other technologies. The latest study showed that by 2025, there will be more than 100 zettabytes (1 zettabyte equals 1 billion terabytes) of data stored in the cloud, accounting for half of the total global data in the same year.

Together, cloud computing and engineering are useful in making decisions and solving enterprise problems. It helps in increasing the organization's productivity as well as reducing its costs. Over the past few years, well-organized companies have been constantly hiring professionals with cloud computing experience. Therefore, their companies operated more efficiently with better security. This leads to demand for these skills in the future as well.

    3. User experience designer

UX stands for “User Experience”. User experience design is what defines the experience a user goes through while making use of a service or product such as websites, devices, or even an electric racket.

A UX designer enables the users' experience while using products or services to be enjoyable and useful.

As the world is growing digitally now, a UX designer helps businesses, websites and even products with a user-friendly interface. This way, people get a better experience of products and services. It is now important in every field. Even in hospitals, a UX designer helps people design the user experience of digital medical equipment or treatments so that they get better and get rid of the experience of fear.

A recent study showed that every $1 invested in user experience design results in a $100 return. It shows that UX design is the most in-demand technology now and even in the future. Chances are that a company or website that does not have user experience design will be underestimated. Therefore, this technology is essential for the growth and progress of the company or website.

    4. Cyber security

The process that involves protecting the digital data of websites, software and digital systems from hackers is called cybersecurity. Almost all companies in the world have gone remote since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, protecting data from digital attackers is the primary concern of all companies in the cyber world, even if they are small or large.

Moreover, the general public is also at risk of losing their data from online platforms by hackers. The hackers then blackmail them and make money. Hence, in such a situation, cybersecurity helps people protect their data. This in-demand skill also provides a six-figure income for its experts. Every office employee should have a little knowledge about cybersecurity to protect office data.

Cybersecurity is one of the most in-demand skills now and even in the future. Studies have shown that there will be about 1.1 million cybersecurity employees in the United States in 2022. According to the US Bureau of Labor and Services, the demand for them will increase by 35% by 2031.

    5. Blockchain

The term “Blockchain” consists of two words; “Block” and “Chain”. It can be defined as the formation of a chain through the continuous addition of blocks of information in specific data. Blockchain provides security in cryptocurrencies and many other areas as no one can alter data. In blockchain, information is only added and not deleted or removed.

Unmodified information blocks in the blockchain provide security in many ways to companies in the Internet world and create a chain of information blocks. A blockchain expert can expand into many fields such as technology engineering, front-end engineering, risk analysis, etc.

Recent studies have shown that the blockchain market will reach $67.4 billion by 2026. From 2022 to 2030, this technology industry is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 85.9%. Thus, it shows that blockchain is the most demanding technology now and in the future as well with a lot of working resources.

    minimum

After the Covid-19 pandemic, it has become necessary to learn the latest technological skills for a better life in the future. In short, it can be said that by getting knowledge about the latest technologies like blockchain, artificial intelligence, and cryptocurrencies, anyone can benefit from the best job of the future for a better life.
