A samba school paid tribute to the country's largest indigenous group, the Yanomami and the Amazon rainforest, during a parade it organised.
The Salguero School also paid tribute to British journalist Dom Phillips and local indigenous expert Bruno Pereira. Who were killed in the Amazon in 2022.
Dom Phillips' wife, Alessandra Soares, also participated in the show.
