After some rain this morning, look for occasional showers the rest of the morning and afternoon, then we could see some storms this evening. Highs today will be near 70 degrees.

After midnight, we go from just showers to a possible threat of storms, some of which could be strong to severe. But it all depends on whether or not previous rains and storms have exhausted the unstable air.

If storms form, the main threats will be damaging wind gusts of up to 60 mph and heavy rainfall of up to 2 inches. Some small hail will be possible in stronger storms, and there is a low risk of a tornado. We'll also be on the lookout for the weather tonight and into tomorrow, so stay tuned to the First Alert Weather team as we track the latest on this storm system.

On Tuesday, conditions improve dramatically as sunshine returns with temperatures near 60 degrees.

Wednesday, Valentine's Day, after some patchy morning frosts, things warm up with highs in the mid 60s with plenty of sunshine.

Thursday will be another dry day with mostly sunny conditions and highs in the 60s.

On Friday, clouds will increase with the possibility of some rain returning late in the day. Highs will be in the upper 60s.

Saturday will see cooler temperatures thanks to additional cloud cover and increased rain chances. Highs will be in the low 60s.

Thanks for watching WRBL News 3 and have a great day!
