Madin TYO – TYO 808
(C+)
Where the hell has MadeinTYO been all these years?
MadeinTYO was once seen as a rapper who embodied the essence of youth culture in his music. He delved into controversial topics, experimented with various vocal effects, and even ventured into singing, with sometimes mixed results. However, after a hiatus following the success of his hit single “Uber Everywhere,” MadeinTYO has returned to the music scene with a completely different sound.
Surprisingly, MadeinTYO adopts a more traditional rapping style on this album. Tayo 808 He chooses carefully crafted verses and classic hip-hop beats over whimsical melodies and jet-inspired lyrics. It's as if MadeinTYO took a cue from J. Cole's playbook during his hiatus. In some real ways, it's great to see his growth, see what he's been up to the last few years, and how much he values family time.

Baby Drill – Space Go
(C+)
BabyDrill is the next punk rapper you should watch out for. in God's recordIt doubles the evil.
in God's recordBabyDrill offers nothing but chaos, chaos, and more chaos. Throughout the album, he sings about photographing anything that comes his way in a style I can only describe as huffing and puffing. He definitely embodies the big bad wolf in this project.
The description I gave at the beginning might give the impression that this album isn't great, but that's not necessarily the case. In fact, I love how flowing it is; The songs connect to each other seamlessly. The bouncy mid-tempo beats we hear throughout are great, and the sneaky killer vibes are just right. Overall, I don't mind playing this album in the background while I do my schoolwork; There's something about killer music that makes learning easier.
Favorite tracks: “Jack Frost,” “Killer,” and “Straight.”
