Soros-funded Fulton County District Attorney Fanny Willis was personally served with a subpoena by the U.S. Marshals Service after she failed to acknowledge the same emailed request, the Daily Caller reported.
This month, the House Judiciary Committee issued subpoenas to DA Willis, demanding that she release documents from her office. The action comes amid growing concerns and reports alleging corruption in her role as a Fulton County political aide.
Michael Roman, a former Trump campaign official and co-defendant in Willis' racketeering case, moved to accuse both Willis and Wade of misconduct.
The motion, led by Roman's attorney, Ashley Merchant, alleges a “secret and inappropriate personal relationship” between Willis and Wade, which could undermine the integrity of the prosecution against Trump and others.
According to a court document reviewed by The Gateway Pundit:
“The prosecutor chose to appoint her romantic partner, who at all times relevant to this trial was a married man. Admittedly, this is a bold claim considering it's directed at one of the most powerful people in the state of Georgia, the Fulton County District Attorney.
However, the prosecutor's fame and authority do not change the fact that she decided to appoint a special prosecutor for someone with whom she had a personal relationship and who is now leading the day-to-day prosecution of this case.
Even assuming that this type of favoritism might be forgiven in the abstract, a review of the amount of money the special prosecutor paid the district attorney and the personal activities of the district attorney and the special prosecutor during this prosecutor's term shed light on the extent to which this arrangement was self-serving.
The motion also states that Wade financed luxury vacations with Willis using money from Fulton County.
“Information obtained outside of court files indicates that the Prosecutor and Special Prosecutor personally traveled together to places such as Napa Valley, Florida, and the Caribbean, and the Special Prosecutor purchased tickets for both of them to travel on both the Norwegian and Royal Caribbean islands. Cruise Lines. May be Traveling together to places like Washington, D.C. or New York City makes sense for business purposes in light of other pending lawsuits, but what business purpose can only be achieved by traveling to these traditional vacation destinations?
Judiciary Chief Jim Jordan publicly questioned Willis' behavior on social media:
“Did Fannie Willis misuse federal grant money for personal gain? Did I misuse Georgia taxpayer money for personal gain? Why aren't Democrats asking these questions?” Jordan tweeted.
Did Fanny Willis misuse federal grant money for personal gain?
Did you misuse Georgia taxpayer money for personal gain?
Why aren't Democrats asking these questions?

Following these allegations, Chief Jordan issued a subpoena to Willis after she reportedly did not comply with initial document requests.
Those requests were related to her accusation against former President Donald Trump and accusations that Willis fired a staffer for trying to prevent a top campaign aide from embezzling federal funds.
According to audio obtained by The Free Beacon, in 2021, Fulton County District Attorney Amanda Timpson warned Fanny Willis, one of her aides in the office, that she would use a “$488,000 federal grant — earmarked to create a youth empowerment center.” And prevent gangs – to pay for the “swag”, computers and travel.
Refusal to accept the subpoena via email implicated the US Marshals.
A source close to the matter expressed frustration to the Daily Caller, questioning Willis' compliance and pointing to unnecessary spending of taxpayer money due to her avoidance.
Willis recently admitted to having a sexual relationship with Nathan Wade. The admission came in a 176-page lawsuit in response to allegations of misconduct by Trump co-defendant Michael Roman. While Willis acknowledged the relationship, she denied any financial benefit from it, a claim that is likely to come under scrutiny as the House Judiciary Committee continues its investigation.
The GOP-controlled Georgia State Senate last month approved creating a panel to investigate Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis by a vote of 30 to 19 on charges of criminal misconduct and corruption, primarily related to her relationship with District Attorney Nathan Wade.
