President Joe Biden on Thursday tried to clean up the mess that began with the release of special counsel Robert Hoare's report regarding his handling of classified documents and his memory. It didn't go well.

Hoare found that Biden “intentionally kept and disclosed classified materials” — including classified national security documents and “sensitive intelligence sources and methods” — in his home, garage and office for decades.

But in a classic example of the two-tiered justice system under his administration, Biden will not be indicted because he is a “well-intentioned elderly man with a weak memory” and it would be difficult to convince a jury to convict someone. This is weak.

This is not our opinion. This is literally the conclusion that Hoare reached and achieved.

According to the report, Biden “did not remember when he was vice president” or “when his son Beau died,” and showed “diminished abilities” and “significant limitations” during his interview with the special counsel.

The evidence of the president's apparent decline in mental capacity is, by all accounts, incredibly disturbing.

Hoare writes that Biden “did not remember when he was vice president, and forgot on the first day of the interview when his term ended (“If that was 2013 — when did you stop being vice president?”)… He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Bo died. pic.twitter.com/N6B1FgdI3D

Report on Biden's mental acuity is a complete disaster

Former President Donald Trump made a good point in a social media post when commenting on the special counsel's explanation that Biden would escape charges because he played the role of a “well-meaning old man with a failing memory.”

Trump explained that the classified documents were “deliberately” obtained by Biden as vice president and senator, long before his mental struggles took hold.

“Biden took the documents at the peak of his mental activity,” he wrote. “He should not be allowed to get away with it, and he was not protected by the Presidential Records Act.”

That's right, he shouldn't get away with it. But of course he has. What did not escape punishment was the fact that the Hoare Report indicated that the President of the United States, the man with the nuclear codes, was considered too old to be prosecuted.

Sensing how this information would impact his re-election campaign, Biden came out publicly to defend his cognitive issues, even inviting reporters outside the list his handlers usually provide.

Enter Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy who managed to turn a frail Biden into an animated, angry “Get off my lawn” Biden with his memory questions.

“One of the things the special counsel said in his report is that one of the reasons you shouldn't be charged is because you are, as he described it, a well-intentioned elderly man with a poor memory,” Ducey said.

“I'm well-intentioned and I'm an old man and I know what the hell I'm doing,” Biden responded. You were president and got this country back on its feet. I don't need his recommendation-“

Will you get the country back on its feet? He can't even stand on his feet.

We now live in an age in which the President of the United States is so mentally diminished that he has to hold a press conference to assure the American people that he “knows what the hell he's doing.”

President Biden even sparred with reporters from normally compliant media outlets over his memory.

The exchange with CNN's MJ Lee became particularly aggressive when she said: “Many Americans have been watching, and they have expressed concerns about your age.”

“This is your rule!” Biden shouted, waving a defiant finger at her. “This is your judgment! This is not the judgment of the press.”

First of all, this is the rule of the American people, not the press. It is clear that Biden simply wants media admiration and nothing else.

Second, an NBC News poll found that three-quarters of voters, including half of Democrats, say they have concerns about Biden's mental and physical health.

Biden defends his memory and forgets things instantly

By all accounts, President Biden's “My Memory Is Good” news conference was a colossal disaster. Not only does the angry and defensive tone indicate that there is He is There's something to be angry about and defend about, but it's because he has several major indicators that his memory is a major problem.

Biden began referring to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as “the president of Mexico.” It appears that the Mexican president convinced him to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza.

You know, first of all, President Sisi of Mexico [sic] They did not want to open the gate to let in humanitarian materials [to Gaza]. His word. “I convinced him to open the gate,” Biden said.

Then, while addressing the issue of his son Beau's death — which Hoare said in his report said Biden couldn't remember the year he died — the president seemed to forget the name of the church where the rosary he wears “every day” at home. The honor came from.

“Let me tell you something. Some of you have commented. Every day, since the day he died, I wear the rosary he got from a lady…” he said, leaving everyone on the edge of their seats.

At the conclusion of his disastrous public presentation, President Biden, in separate remarks to Democrats, declared himself a man representing red and “green” states, and discussed the landmark abortion case, Roe v. Ward.

“I said I would be a president for everyone, whether you live in a red state or a green state,” Biden said.

All of this comes during a week in which President Biden's mental difficulties came to the fore after he twice claimed and insisted he spoke with former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, who died in 2017, about the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol in 2021. He spoke with former French President François Mitterrand, who died in 1996.
