Squatters have taken over more than 1,200 homes in Atlanta, Georgia, and are terrorizing neighbors with loud parties. One house has been turned into an illegal strip club.
This is a symptom of the chaos that has swept the country in recent years, and to make matters worse, laws often favor squatters, making it extremely difficult for homeowners to get rid of them.
If this is allowed to continue, the problem will worsen as it spreads.

Marca's Paradise: Squatters occupy 1,200 homes in Atlanta, open strip club
In the latest episode of Democrat Urban Utopia, squatters are reportedly taking over hundreds of homes in Atlanta, terrorizing neighbors, and even opening an illegal strip club.
The police response to evict the squatters was so delayed that some desperate homeowners actually bribed the squatters to leave, according to the New York Post. Entire neighborhoods have been destroyed by mobs of squatters. Matt Urbanski, manager of a local house cleaning company, stressed the severity of the crisis, saying: “I would be terrified in Atlanta if I rented out one of my properties.”
He should know, as he cleans houses for “corporate landlords,” according to the newspaper. Not only is Urbanski removing squatters' property, but one of his employees was also shot after his final attempt to keep squatters off private property.
Crime is a serious problem in Democratic-run Atlanta, which reported record homicides in 2021. While violent crimes were reported to be down in Atlanta in 2023, car thefts were up. Democrats' soft-on-crime policies likely contribute to the slum crisis, noted PJ Media's Chris Quinn, who has lived in metro Atlanta all his life.
“Certain parts of metro Atlanta — areas under full Democratic control — are turning a blind eye when it comes to crime, so it's not surprising that criminals are becoming bolder and more creative,” Quinn said.
Is this supposed to be part of the democratic “justice” agenda?

Squatting should be illegal in every state. It's crazy that squatters have more rights than legal property owners! pic.twitter.com/EqnucBOXoi

This can come to a bad end very quickly. It would be wise for authorities in Atlanta to address the matter before people start taking matters into their own hands.
