Oscar-winning star Jon Voight, who has long been one of the only conservative Christians in Hollywood, recently released a video in which he compared former President Donald Trump to Jesus Christ. Trump has since shared the video on his Truth Social platform.
Voight's votes are down
“There is too much hate. We must never let it take over the facts. Trump is the only man who can destroy the negative propaganda that has put him in office.”
“Can we be saved with the American people who believe in the glory of God? Can we save our nation from the black cloud that has clouded our life’s dreams?” he continued. “Yes. Because Joshua promised a land of hospitality and his sword of righteousness. He fought battles left and right. Battles of truth and falsehood.
Voight brings Jesus
That's when Voight brought up Jesus Christ.
He said: “Jesus said that man can rise above the darkness, and that he can be saved with this understanding, and this truth.” “Believe. And the Holy Spirit will fulfill. The light of God's happiness for all to shine. This truth can open ways for talents to emerge.
“He believes. The only man who can help this nation, the only man who has been ridiculed and destroyed like Jesus, Trump, can come back and save the American dream for everyone. And make America great with the dignity and strength that she is,” Voight concluded. “Land of the free. Allah's Land. Glory to God. United States of America. Lots of love to you.”

Voight has long been one of the only Hollywood stars to publicly support Trump. Back in 2022, Voight said Trump was “the only one” who could save our country.
“American citizens, we are facing the threat of World War III. We, as a family of one truth, must hear this now. Look at this lie, this deception that continues day after day,” Voight said, according to the Daily Mail. It's supposed to be the land of the free, but it's far from it. It's a dark web. A dark world, but not for long, because change is coming, my friends, and a new light will emerge. We must all see this truth and allow justice to be done now.
He later added: “Let's pray that the only president who understood the facts and had the best interests of the American people, the American dream, President Donald Trump, returns to the presidency.” “He and he are the only ones who can stop this swamp. Allow President Trump to rebuild our soil and our land so we can rise to our glory.”
The Independent reported that in 2017, Voight said: “If only God could reverse all the negative lies against Mr. Trump, whose only desire was to make America great again.” Two years later, he said Trump was “the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln.”
