You can find out more in this story on the 12 NEWS app. 619 Lindsay. What is the weather doing now? It's fog. Yes, we have another warning for dense fog, but a lot of this is an homage attributable to the fact that we've had a very warm, warm winter for 60 of the past 68 days. We've had temperatures above freezing and we've had a lot of humidity because we had that big snow storm in January, and then everything started melting. Therefore, we are seeing days of heavy fog warnings, especially in the morning. So, it's a blurry start to the day. We remain cloudy throughout the day with highs near 48. Tomorrow the winds will pick up. It's going to be very mild actually near record temperature and rain is likely in the mid to late afternoon and then that will move into early Friday. Some of the latest weather models suggest that it will be deployed a little early. But it's still windy and we'll see those temperatures. This here could break the record. This record is 51 degrees. But when we look at the normal times when we typically get to 40 degrees, that's usually around March 3rd. We are usually close to 50 points until April 2nd. We will turn 50 on February 8th. This is madness. crazy. We don't get it in just one day, but in two days. We will see a calm period on the road. But first I want to get you out the door and you can see there's a little bit of visibility issues happening right now in Waukesha Hartford, Beaver Dam, also getting into Burlington, and visibility will likely continue to decrease as we move forward throughout the morning. I'm noticing a bit of a blur in Oconomowoc. It doesn't look too bad, but temperatures are now near 28 degrees, which may indicate that some fog drops may be freezing in some locations now. Milwaukee is freezing right now, with temperatures nearing 32. We hit the upper 40s today with cloudy conditions. If you want to wash the car honestly, I would wait until the end of the week. We have that rain on the way on Thursday late in the day and then leading into early Friday. Let me track the coming rain. Opportunity is there for you with this warm, cold front here. This will be rain late in the day and could lead to thunderclaps during the overnight hours there. Then we get the cold front. This cold front will help foster some cold air that will settle in over the weekend. And all this comes with winds of up to 35 mph. Look at this Thursday during the day there, about 20 or so and they start to get higher and higher as the day goes on with wind gusts around 30 mph. I know this is sturgeon season. We were very warm. It's going to be a cooler weekend, but be sure to check the latest officials and also the latest guidelines when it comes to your sturgeon season, because there's been some uncertainty here for a while. In fact, our lake ice is so low, the Great Lakes' total is 6.6%. Lake Michigan is now at 7.9% water, but winter isn't over yet. We have a series of cold fronts on the way that will each bring some cold air into the forecast. Every time we move, one goes through Friday, one goes through Sunday, and another one goes through Tuesday. So temperatures will continue to drop. We'll get checked back with the arrival of the DGA in the next half hour.
