songs on Life grows Touching on themes of anxiety, motherhood and mortality. “I realized what life was like without hope,” Gibbons said in a statement. “And that was a sadness I had never felt before. Before, I had the power to change my future, but when you're up against your body, you can't force it to do something it doesn't want to do.”
Gibbons said the album also came from a period of “a lot of goodbyes.” “People started dying. When you're young, you never know endings, you don't know how things are going to end. You think: We'll get through this. You'll get better. Some endings are hard to digest… Now I've come out the other end, I think you have to be brave.” .
Speaking about the visual look of “Floating on a Moment,” Oursler commented, “When I first heard the song Floating On A Moment, it literally transported me from one place to another, filling me with kaleidoscopic feelings and visions. If possible, I wanted to capture this psychological fluid in This video. Beth's work is so powerful that it can lead us through the forests and fires of life, revealing glimpses of possible futures. With a voice and music like this, I knew we had to make images that were open, somewhat contemplative.
