Mr Brightside has fared well in his bid to capture another Group One finish in Saturday's CF Orr Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.

The Ben, Will and JD Hayes-trained rider will advance from barrier four in the nine-horse field which includes the likes of Veight, Pride Of Jenni and Atishu.

Godolphin rider Pericles is also set to line up and has drawn hurdle five with Mark Zahra to ride him.

The race will take place at 4.55pm AEDT.

Meanwhile, a few of Melbourne's best two-year-olds will be out to cement their place in the Group One Blue Diamond Stakes.

Ten of the boys have agreed to take part in the Blue Diamond Prelude colts and geldings competition, and among these promising boys is High Octane.

The filly version has room for 16 people, plus one emergency room.

Other featured races on the Caulfield card include the Group 2 Autumn Stakes, Group 2 Roubiton Stakes, Group 3 Carlyon Cup, and Group 3 Peter le Grand Stakes.
