LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — Arkansas residents are taking full advantage of the sunny weather after battling rain over the weekend.
With every disc thrown, yes or no, but either way, Michael May said, “Disc golf is life.”
He took full advantage of the sunny weather on Tuesday.
“I always want to go play, but sometimes the weather doesn't always allow for it, especially lately, when you have a beautiful day outside and the sun is shining, you just have to come enjoy it,” May said.
Hindman Park was closed for several days due to flooding. Now it has been opened again, but the remaining water and soft spots in the road did not stop them from playing.
“It's not always ideal, but we'll get out of it,” May said.
Gabriel Bozeman has also played in all types of weather, and today's weather was an incentive to get outside.
“The weather was beautiful and he had to go out and throw,” Bozeman said.
If you're looking for a reason to be out in the sun, disc golf is always a great idea, May said.
“I think if you need an excuse, disc golf is a great excuse,” May said.
They love the sport so much, they will play it in almost any weather, but they prefer it to be something like what we felt today.
