    The Melvins have announced their latest album, Tarantula, will be released on April 19 via Ipecac. The lead single, “Working the Ditch,” arrives today along with a music video featuring Jesse Nieminen. Check it out below.

    “The way we approached it Tarantula heart “It was different than any other Melvins album,” Buzz Osborne explained in a statement. “I brought in Dale and Roy Mayorga to play with Stephen and I on some tracks, and then I took those sessions and figured out what parts would work and wrote new music to go with them. That's not a studio approach we've taken at all. We usually write the songs before we start recording!”
