Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) announced her intention to introduce a bill that would require any politician calling for sending US troops to Ukraine to fight with them on the front lines.
The proposed legislation comes in response to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer's recent announcement of holding the first vote on the $118 billion foreign aid bill.
Luna's bill aims to ensure that politicians who support sending troops to Ukraine are willing to put themselves at risk as well.
She took a swipe at Schumer (D-N.Y.) in an ad on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
“In honor of Chuck Schumer, I will introduce a bill that would require any politician who calls for sending US troops to Ukraine to fight with them on the front lines,” she wrote.

Luna wants pro-war politicians to be the first to reach the front lines
The fake conservative group Republicans Against Trump objected to the bill proposed by Rep. Luna sayingHe added: “Literally no one is calling for sending troops to Ukraine.”
But Luna's direct shot at Schumer refers to comments he made regarding the $118 aid bill to Ukraine and Israel in an appearance on MSNBC's “Morning Joe.”
“We are at a turning point in America,” Schumer said. “This bill is critical and history will look at it and say, ‘Has America itself failed?’” Schumer said.
He added: “If we do not help Ukraine, Putin will roam all over Ukraine, we will lose the war, and we may be fighting in Eastern Europe and a NATO ally in a few years.” “The Americans won't like it.”
Telling him that he said: “We.”

Luna says anyone who votes for the funding bill is betraying America
Schumer, along with the mainstream media and America's last Republicans, has argued that the $118 billion Senate bill represents a compromise and tries to portray it as equally dealing with foreign wars and the ongoing war on the southern border, but it does not.
“It provides billions of dollars in vital investments in American national security to confront growing threats in the Middle East and the Red Sea, and prepares Ukraine to fight Putin,” Schumer said in a statement on X. He added: “In the coming days, the Senate must act decisively.” Regarding this National Security Emergency Supplemental Funding.”
As The Policy Insider noted, they keep mentioning border funding in the introduction to this bill, even though it only represents 17% ($20 billion) of the proposed funding.
In fact, Ukraine, Israel, military operations in the Red Sea, and munitions directed to Taiwan account for 66% ($78.5 billion) of the funding.
Luna says anyone is a Republican Vote on this bill He “betrayed” America.
She added: “It is a huge issue that America's border bill is more about financing foreign countries' wars than our interests and peoples.”
