In a pioneering initiative to push the nation to the digital forefront, Web3PH, in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and ICP.hub Philippines, hosted introductionIt is an exclusive gathering of key technology figures from the public and private sectors.
The forum, which was held on January 26, 2024, witnessed the participation of prominent figures representing government agencies, private institutions, and leading community organizations. Beyond the rhetoric, it served as a strategic arena for these stakeholders to explore potential partnerships, laying the foundation for sustainable growth in the technology sector.
The collaboration between Web3PH, DICT, and ICP.Hub Philippines underscored the importance of united efforts in driving innovation and growing a thriving technology ecosystem for all.
Roadmap for the future
Web3PH core members Bea Llana and Justin Wee took the opportunity to reveal the organization's extensive calendar events for the year. This strategic initiative aims to enhance cooperation between all participating parties, and provide a clear roadmap for coordinating efforts throughout the year.
Explaining the importance of this initiative, Pia Lana commented: “By bringing together government, private enterprise and community organisations, we are creating a space for all these separate bodies to connect and have meaningful discussions – all with one goal of taking coordinated steps to adopt web3.”

Adding to this sentiment, Justin Wee said: “Being for the community, it is only necessary that these events are supported by the community itself. We want to involve everyone in the planning and implementation of these events to ensure that the initiatives are aligned with the needs and aspirations of those we inevitably serve.”
The unveiled calendar includes a series of events strategically designed to engage various stakeholders – builders, creatives and everyday people, among others.
