Monday morning is off to a cold start. Temperatures are in the teens, 20s and 30s. Skies will be mostly clear, but high clouds will move in from the west throughout the day. Winds will remain light on Monday, and temperatures will be warmer than on Sunday, thanks to high pressure in the sky. Monday will be the most beautiful day of the week to spend time outside.
As the next storm approaches on Tuesday, it will bring clouds and breezes with it. Scattered rain and mountain snow will hit New Mexico on Wednesday, making it the wettest day of the workweek. However, scattered mountain snow and light rain will be possible Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well. Some upper level disturbances and storms will bring daily rainfall. A winter storm watch will begin Tuesday evening in the San Juan Mountains and southwestern mountains of New Mexico.
