Christine Jarmon, a commercial loan specialist from Grundy Bank's downtown Morris branch, has been selected to participate in the Future Leaders Alliance presented through the Illinois Bankers Association.
This 14-month leadership program is dedicated to enhancing the professional development of new and promising banking leaders through three core components: education, community service, and networking.
Participants will participate in comprehensive training that includes attending educational sessions, completing a progress strategy project, performing local community service and teaching financial literacy. Educational sessions cover essential topics such as leadership and influence, team building, the legislative process, presentation skills, accounting for bankers, asset and liability management, hot regulatory topics, cybersecurity and more.
Christine has been working at Grundy Bank for seven years. She has actively participated in women empowerment events, such as Women in Banking in 2023. She has also participated in local community events and field training to modernize the bank's programmes. This March, she will attend the ONE (Opportunity, Connection, Education) conference as part of her 14-month leadership programme.
