Today's sunny skies allowed temperatures to rise into the mid 60s for a much more pleasant afternoon than yesterday. Winds were also howling from the west all day at 25-30 mph and approaching 45-50 mph.
Tonight's gusty winds will continue to move out of the west at 20-30 mph and gusting up to 40 mph as we have a wind advisory until 9am. Temperatures should reach lows in the upper and middle 40s for most of us.
Tomorrow will be almost a copy and paste of today with temperatures rising into the mid 60s under mostly sunny skies. Not to mention, winds should stay at 20-30 mph out of the west-northwest, so we're watching to see if this advisory will be extended.
Longer term, we see the winds calm more as we head into Monday and next week. Temperatures look mild all week, hovering around the 60s but reaching the 70s by next weekend. We are seeing a weak cold front moving forward from around Wednesday into Thursday which may intensify the winds again a bit but the rain looks to be very minimal. Right now, there's only a 10% chance Wednesday night and then nothing until next weekend.
