When asked about her future on the series, Megan Cusack (who plays Nancy) exclusively told RadioTimes.com in Radio Times Covers Party 2024 talks about how much she truly loves the cast and crew of the long-running show.
“You never want to leave. I mean the whole cast and crew, they're like family. I know everyone says that, but it's so true,” Cusack said.
“I'm heading out to lunch with one of my drivers on Friday, they're really the people I want to see all the time, and they've been there for me through the highs and lows of my personal life.

“But that's the thing – you never know where the story's going to go, and that's tough. It's something you have to accept, but no, I love being there, they're great.”
Nancy's story has certainly become more dramatic, as we saw in last Sunday's episode that the young nurse was able to track down one of the nuns in the convent where she grew up.
Although she had an idea her family had contracted tuberculosis earlier in the episode, Nancy's thoughts were confirmed when she learned from the nun that her entire family had contracted the disease — but may have survived due to vaccination or natural immunity.

It was an emotional episode for viewers at home but also for the actress who revealed it radiotimes.com It was like a roller coaster reading the text for the first time.
“I remember reading it, and I was like, 'Oh my God,'” she revealed. You have a little bit of backstory about you as a person, but you don't always know the full details.
“So, when I read the script, it was like, ‘Oh my God.’ And then when I went and met the woman in the house, it was very emotional.
“And the woman who played [Kathleen, Mary Larkin]It was amazing, it was amazing. “Yes, it was very emotional.”
