Thursday evening Ivory Heckerthe host Gateway: Beyond the headlines I interviewed Tara Reade, the woman who in 2020 came forward with credible sexual assault allegations against then-candidate Joe Biden. Tara fled to Russia in May 2024, and is suing the Department of Justice for alleged misconduct.
Tara Reid revealed how the politicized FBI was targeting her on Portal: Behind the headlines:
Tara Reid: First of all, thank you for having me on the show. I really appreciate it. And let us know part of this history that happened. The FBI, you know, through the Department of Justice, has been heavily weaponized. And I think there's been a lot of discussion about that on Capitol Hill, where the hearings have revealed the extent to which it has been politicized and weaponized under the Biden regime.
But when I discovered it, I found out early about some of the things that are now being revealed in both covert and overt ways. There were things happening to me like being targeted for possible criminal charges, and different people were contacting me on social media. And when all of this was first revealed in 2019. When I first came forward with this. When all this started happening, I went to get help. When I was getting death threats, right? I was thinking this was coming from the outside, maybe a deranged person or a bad actor or something. So I did what any normal citizen would do, and went to the FBI for help. I didn't know the FBI was targeting me. The Biden administration designated me as a Russian asset in 2019, and I went from there…
…The first thing they did was designate me as a Russian asset, and then in 2020 when Biden was elected, that gave them the authority to do what's called a FISA hearing, where they could conduct warrantless searches and surveillance, and John can describe that a little bit. a little better. But unbeknownst to me, this was kind of a known thing, and it was starting to happen on the menu, so to speak. So I went to the FBI for help, and I didn't get it. And then as things progressed and Biden became president, it became clear that I was a target. A sealed case was then filed in 2020 from the Department of Justice via the FBI. And the only reason I knew about it because it was a closed case is because a Twitter lawyer reached out to me and said, this is the sealed memo. He gave me the DOJ's sealed warrant to get all my Twitter communications. They also told me, in his conversation, that all of my communications, i.e. emails, any other social media I had, were being examined by the FBI…
…to what end? Well, to know who I was talking to and what I was doing, probably. Then it was also to terrorize and intimidate me. It was very scary, especially when I was trying to tell the truth, and suddenly the government was coming after me. Now that Biden has the full powers of the presidency, he is able to weaponize the Justice Department and the FBI at will. So I'll let John explain some of the legal aspects of that.

The allegations against the FBI include suspicious events such as disturbances in her bank accounts and her book manuscript that disappeared from a FedEx shipment in November 2020 and which details her allegations against Biden.
