Very few American voters believe Joe Biden should be given a second term as president, according to a new Gallup poll.
It's easy to understand why. Inflation is still very high, the southern border is non-existent, crime is horrific everywhere and seems to be getting worse. Conflicts are breaking out all over the world and nothing seems stable.
If Joe Biden had been running a private company, he would have been fired by now.
From Gallup polls:
Fewer than four in 10 registered voters in the US say President Joe Biden deserves to be re-elected, while less than a quarter say the same about most members of the US House of Representatives. As is almost always the case, voters are more likely to believe a U.S. representative from their district should be returned to Congress, with 55% holding this view.
As expected, a large majority of registered Democratic voters (82%) versus a small number of Republican voters (3%) believe Biden should be reelected. At 29%, independent voters' support for a second term for Biden is much closer to that of Republicans than Democrats.
In January of previous re-election years, Gallup asked whether former Presidents Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and George H.W. Bush deserved to be re-elected. The same question was asked of George W. Bush (October 2003) and Barack Obama (December 2011) in the late years before they sought re-election.
Of these, the younger Bush (who won reelection) had the highest reelection rate, at 53%, while the two incumbents who lost, Trump at 50% and Bush Sr. at 49%, scored slightly lower. Although Biden's current rating ranks lowest among readings for the previous six presidents, his 38% is most similar to Clinton's 44% and Obama's 43%, both of whom won second terms.
These are the worst reelection numbers in 32 years.

However, the media continues to support Biden as if he is doing a good job. Is it any wonder why the media is collapsing faster than Biden's poll numbers?
