Sonia Sotomayor, the liberal Supreme Court justice who was nominated by Obama to the court, said recently that the court's conservative wing is shocking her with its rulings.

Sotomayor says she feels “frustrated” daily when conservative justices push the United States to the right
US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor said Monday she feels “frustrated” daily by conservative justices moving the country to the ideological right.
In an appearance at UC Berkeley Law School, Sotomayor was asked how she would deal with the court's ongoing conservative rulings.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported that “each loss gives me a real shock,” but “I wake up the next morning.” The audience – about 1,300 students – applauded.
In her remarks, Merkel criticized her “original colleagues” who she said had come up with “new ways of interpreting the constitution,” and changing provisions “that some of us believe are well-established,” the Chronicle reported.
The 6-3 conservative court has had two eventful terms, leaving its mark on some of the most important aspects of daily life — from striking down the federal right to abortion to ruling that affirmative action in colleges is unconstitutional.
If she wants to make politics, she is in the wrong profession.

She should resign and run for office if she wants to become a politician. This is a different role than being a judge.
