Belfast (2021) A film based on Kenneth Branagh's own experience. The entire film revolves around the point of view of nine-year-old boy Paddy and his working-class family in Belfast, who are attacked by a group of Protestant loyalists in their homes as well as the businesses of Catholics on Paddy's Street. . At a very young age, Paddy witnessed and saw the reality of sectarian conflict, with his family caught in the middle.
The film won the People's Choice Award at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival.
