    Bitcoin price | Cryptocurrency Prices Today: Bitcoin, Pepe Coin, and XRP Collapse as Ethereum Rises

    Cryptocurrency prices today took a bearish turn as Bitcoin (BTC) extended below $43,000 while major altcoins posted significant losses as well. However, Ethereum (ETH), the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, saw a notable rise today. While the price of XRP took a big hit as it fell below $0.52.

    Major crypto prices today

    Bitcoin price fell below the $43,000 level today due to the recent bearish shift. The price of Bitcoin fell by 1.21%, settling at $42,930.19 at the time of writing on Wednesday, January 31. On the other hand, trading volume increased by 1.92% to reach $22.84 billion during the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, the cryptocurrency's market capitalization reached $842.03 billion

    Looking at altcoins, Ethereum price rose 1.34% to $2,340.43 at press time with a market valuation of $281.25 billion. Furthermore, Ethereum recorded a 10.90% rise in its trade volume, reaching $10.39 billion. Additionally, the price of Binance Coin (BNB) fell by 1.28% in value to $306.82, while 24-hour trading volume fell by 8.74% to $765.24 million.

    On the other hand, the price of “Solana” decreased by 1.54% to reach $100.28. However, trade volume rose by 25.91% to $3.49 billion over the past 24 hours. Moreover, the price of XRP dropped significantly. XRP price saw a 4.90% decline to $0.5103. Conversely, XRP trading volume increased by 94.10% to $1.76 billion.

    Meanwhile, Cardano price fell by 3.49% to $0.5111. Moreover, it recorded a 10.15% decline in 24-hour trading volume, settling at $456.43 million. Meanwhile, in the meme market, the price of Dogecoin fell by 1.71% to $0.08008, while its competitor Shiba Inu registered a decline of 1.86% and was trading at $0.000009112.

    Pepe's coin crashed hard

    Pepe Coin (PEPE), one of the popular coins, has crashed dramatically. Pepe Coin price fell 7% to $0.0000009831 with a market valuation of $412.11 million. In contrast, 24-hour trade volume increased by 31.88% to reach $76.32 million.

    Render Coin (RNDR), launched by Jules Urbach in 2017, posted massive gains on Wednesday. At press time, Render's price was up 7.18% to $4.66, making RNDR the biggest gainer in the market today. Moreover, trade volume increased by a staggering 103.38% to $215.44 million.

    Pyth network gains more than 6%

    The Solana ecosystem's Pyth Network (PYTH) saw a significant spike today. PYTH price rose 6.51% to $0.4214 at the time of reporting. Additionally, trade volume increased by a whopping 95.03% to $99.24 million. Furthermore, Pyth Network hit a high of $0.446 amid today's rally.
